Hi, I’m Maya,  the founder and planner behind Moments by Maya.

With more than 13 years of experience in hospitality and events, and over 150 weddings across Toronto and the GTA, I’ve had the privilege of helping couples bring some of the most meaningful celebrations of their lives to life.

But what I’ve come to love most about wedding planning isn’t simply creating beautiful events. It’s the relationship that comes with it.

I believe the best planning experience feels like having a trusted friend in your corner, someone who knows your vision, understands your priorities, keeps you grounded when things feel overwhelming, and is always one step ahead.

My approach is thoughtful, organized, and highly personal. I pay attention to the details, anticipate the unexpected, and handle the moving pieces behind the scenes so that you can be fully present for the moments that matter most.

My couples often describe me as calm, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and incredibly easy to work with. One of my favourite compliments is being told that I feel like “a friend who just happens to be a professional planner.”
